I like the outdoorsy type, don’t you? Outdoors is fun. And more to the point, outdoorsy students are fun! I always relish taking my students on outdoor field trips, because watching them get down and physical with nature can offer revealing insights into their character. The boys can go to hell of course; it’s the girls I’m interested in. How will they respond when the going gets tough? When physical challenges are there to be met, are they woman enough to meet them? Well one particular young minx did all that and more on a field trip a couple of years ago. She somehow managed to get lost (!), so we all had to split up and go find her.
